All About "Back to Basics"

Pope's School of Percussion has brought Marcus' vision for the "Back to Basics" drum workshop to Huntsville since 2013 with the help of private sponsorship and a team of dedicated volunteers. This workshop provides an up-close-and-personal learning experience with professional drummers sharing their experience and techniques. Everything gets down to the real, and attendees have the chance to converse and get their questions answered.  Clinics and Master Classes have been taught by world-renowned professionals such as Will Kennedy, Dennis Chambers, Greg Clark Jr.,  Mike Johnston, JFLY, Jim Rupp,  Omari Williams, Calvin Rodgers, Larnell Lewis, PJ Spraggins, Darrell Tibbs and JD Blair. 

  "Back to Basics" is for all drummers, any skill level,  aged middle-school and older.
